A company Director with over twenty-five years of board level experience across the commercial sector with particular experience in the professional services, the pet industry, the automotive industry, FMCG and education. At board level, I provide strategic leadership, and implement company policies to meet corporate and plan objectives. As Managing Director of KONG, I established the Australian subsidiary of the world’s No.1 dog toy business in 2010, leading to an increase in specialist pet and veterinary revenues of 500%, along with repositioning of the business away from FMCG. Prior to that I was the Managing Director of Rudducks, a national distributor of pet accessory products, where I delivered a 222% increase in revenue. The business included the manufacture of over 170 pet products including the export of a select range. In my prior role, I established the Australian subsidiary of Motorcare Services Limited, an accident management company. This included development of a national network of automotive panel repairers and the introduction of a call centre and claims service for Australian insurers and automotive service providers. Finally, I have a Diploma of Business (Accounting) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978. I spent 25 years in public accounting with 20 years as a practicing partner.
