I am passionate about being involved in the community in which I live and work. Having lived in Many rural and remote locations in Western Australia since 1989, I first became involved in emergency response by becoming a volunteer fire fighter in Carnarvon (18 months), Kununurra (14 years), Broome (3 years), Meekatharra (2 1/2 years) and Currently an active member of the Geraldton Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service. With nearly 25 years as a volunteer fire fighter it have developed many skills to respond to and manage emergency incidents.I have extended my passion for helping the community in a volunteer capacity into my current professional career as an Emergency Services Officer in the Mining Industry in Western Australia.
