• Supervise the development and improvements of our county’s core curriculum units based on standards, best practices, and school/county needs for Franklin County Schools• Work with low-performing schools and teachers to help meet learning needs and assessment goals• Develop and facilitates professional development in critical need areas in all elementary schools• Support accountability in alignment of assessments for K-5 standards and curriculum units• Lead facilitator for the county for all trainings and professional development for all reading programs• Main point of contact for Science of Reading and LETRS training implementation for the county• Head of all trainings and professional development for diagnostic tools used in the county• Organize reading camps that follow RTA law and are effective in student learning.• Provides targeted coaching and professional development to school leaders to support content knowledge, curriculum implementation on best practices
