While participating in FDD’s congressional fellowship, I have been placed on the Select Committee’s policy team focusing on defense issues and hard power competition with the Chinese Communist Party.

Research Analyst in FDD’s Center on Military and Political Power; Focused on emerging threats, air and missile defense, urban combat, arms sales, and weapons development as well as regional military operations and exercises. Also analyzing the war in Ukraine, Israel, and efforts to deter aggression against Taiwan.

Assist the director of the National Security Studies program in managing events, programs and mentoring undergraduate students pursing education and careers in national security and defense.

My duties are to form and execute a strategy which fulfills our National organization’s mandate to educate and expose our members (and College by extension) to information and career opportunities in the foreign affairs and national security arena. In my first term as president the chapter has…- Formed a leadership structure of high performers. - Started a leadership development program for officers- Tripled our chapter’s membership.- Added student engagement programs. - Developed broader relationships with faculty and staff across multiple departments and academic disciplines. - Increased the average student attendance at speaker events to 8-10% of the College’s student body. - Built relationships with other chapters nation wide and more.

Assist the chapter president and faculty advisor form and execute a cohesive strategy to grow the organization and fulfill our mandate. - organized and executed speaker events, discussions groups, book clubs and student events. - marketed/advertised the organization to the student body and collaborated with other clubs on campus.

A national security fellowship partnered with The Alexander Hamilton Society. The program is a unique opportunity to learn from the nation’s foremost defense policy thought-leaders and practitioners along with distinguished senior leaders in the national security, military and intelligence communities. The program is designed to equip fellows with a strong fundamental understanding in defense affairs, covering specific topics such as: budgeting, strategy, civil-military relations, force structure, readiness, the industrial base, the future of warfare, etc.

Airborne Reconnaissance - Afghanistan VetAs a Section Leader in a Motorized Reconnaissance & Surveillance unit:• I was responsible for the training and welfare of two junior managers and 6 other soldiers to ensure their readiness and lethality as part of the U.S. Army’s Global Response Force.As a team leader in Afghanistan• I conducted over 40 missions providing personal security for high-ranking DoD and NATO leaders.• I conducted over 200 missions focused on combat, security, & reconnaissance operations.
