Technical Director
Primary responsibilities include reviewing sales orders that range from $30k - $1mill of total revenue to ensure accuracy and practicality within the event scope. Once business was won, I would coordinate production equipment, scenic, decor and labor for nationwide corporate meetings and events. This includes creating a production budget, meeting and consulting clients to ensure their vision is being exercised while keeping up with updates to their orders, comparing, and booking audio visual and production vendors, arrange shipping and logistics of equipment, conduct site surveys, utilize Vectorworks CAD software to create room designs and floor plans, compose production, trucking schedules as well as Run of Show documents, conducting meetings with Technical Team to review the project and define roles, liaison with venue to coordinate trucking, power, rigging and internet needs, event load-in/out and storage needs. As onsite Technical Director I would direct the overall set-up, conduct testing and rehearsals, call show, organize and edit content (when applicable), act as the main point of contact for our clients, technical team and venue staff and adhering to and exceeding budget expectations.
