Provided strategic direction for, and developed long-term partnerships with key decision-makers at, such clients as Kraft, Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Parmalat, SC Johnson, Colgate and many others. Negotiated multi-year corporate agreements that would guarantee exclusivity and volume commitments.

Lead a team of Senior Account Directors and Account Directors to exceed assigned revenue goals through the sale of in-store and home-delivered media products. Established and built relationships with key decision-makers at all lead accounts to maximize business potential and ensure client satisfaction. Key team clients included Johnson & Johnson, Effem, Unilever, Kraft, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, GSK, etc.

Responsibilities included the sales growth of NMC’s full portfolio of in-store and home-delivered media products to an account base of national packaged goods clients and service providers such as P&G, Kraft, General Mills, Hostess Frito Lay, Heinz, Clearnet, and others. Managed, trained, and developed two Account Coordinators and one Account Associate.

Worked closely with key Zellers executives and buyers to develop NMC’s strategic partnership with Zellers as their exclusive supplier of in-store marketing programs. Responsible for sales growth of NMC’s in-store media products to various packaged goods clients and service providers specifically within the Zellers banner.

Responsibilities included growing sales of Telus (then known as Clearnet) wireless communication products (PCS and Mike) to various commercial accounts in the transportation industry within the downtown Toronto market. Required to generate a continual pipeline of prospects – through 100% new business development – to ensure that the minimum monthly sales requirements could be exceeded.

Taught English to japanese students (aged 7 to 72) within a private school environment in Matsudo, a suburb just outside of Tokyo, Japan.

Reported directly to the Director of Marketing and assisted in the development of sales support materials, market research, and promotional events/conferences/sales meetings for Pharmaceutical Partners of Canada (then known as Fujisawa Inc.), manufacturers of generic and ethical hospital-based pharmaceuticals.
