I developed my communication skills through twelve years of refereeing first team professional Rugby League matches. My career progression lead me to law enforcement. I specialise in Autocrime investigation, Vehicle identification, and rural crime. I am accredited by the Police and the Institute of motor industry in Stolen Vehicle identification. I also hold various accreditations in Plant & Agricultural machinery identification through the CEA (Construction Equipment Association). My knowledge in the area of vehicle identification has grown with fifteen years experience in this area of expertise. I am a member of IAATI Europe (International Association of Auto Theft Investigators). I was a winner at the 2014 NFU Mutual National Rural Crimefighter Awards in London for Rural Crime prevention and detection. In September 2016, I was awarded a bursary place on the International vehicle fire investigation course in Nenagh, Ireland from Nimbus Fire investigation.In September 2016, I was also shortlisted for two Cheshire Police ACE (Achieving Cheshire Excellence) Awards in the same category of Creativity & Innovation in relation to vehicle Crime prevention and detection.During 2017 - I "upskilled” my vehicle Crime base investigating Vehicle Fraud for 12 months with Cheshire Police. In April 2018, I started work with NaVCIS looking into Freight Crime through a seconded position in partnership with Beazley marine.
