I strive to give my clients a level of personal service and value that helps them to view me as a partner in their business or organisation, and to perceive audit as an integral part of their business strategy rather than a grudge purchase. I have 28 years’ experience in the audit field and specialise in providing audit and assurance services to a wide range of clients including large proprietary companies, not-for-profit companies and incorporated associations. Specialising also in the audit of self-managed superannuation funds, I have a particular focus on maximising the efficiency and quality of SMSF audit by making the best use of the latest technology. I have served on the boards of Autism Tasmania and the Tasmania Committee, an organization committed to promoting Tasmania with the “Love This Place” campaign and Tasmanian of the Year Award. Part of my role at Bentleys Tasmania is to act as mentor to the firm’s CA and CPA candidates.When I'm not demonstrating the unbridled joy of auditing to my clients I may be found nursing my derelict boat around the Derwent River in my endless quest for the fish of a lifetime, or avoiding gardening at all costs.
