Vice Chair and voting member of Officers Loan Committee. Individually and in conjunction with others, review complex and sizeable loans for approval as well as compliance with credit policyProvide guidance, assistance and support to lenders in structuring loan packages and evaluating credit worthiness of prospects and customers.Ensure that adequate analysis, evaluation of financial statements and external investigation are conducted in support of the lending process.Provide support to lenders by meeting with larger and more critical borrowers and prospects.Assisted in: Establishment, implementation and management of administrative and review systems and procedures actively managing and protecting the quality of the commercial loan portfolio; Identification of potential problem credits and working with lenders, collection staff and outside counsel to restructure credits and minimize loss; Development of and revisions to risk grading system for commercial loans and monitoring within that system; Managing and monitoring criticized asset levels through quarterly criticized asset reviews and development and execution of action plans.
