Responsibilities• Manager of 5 buyers and Stockroom / Inventory Supervisor.• Active management of $18M of inventory and WIP, ensuring materials are being delivered on time and in time to support production schedules.• Development of strong, Supplier Relationships and key measurements such as Supplier On-Time Delivery, Cost Savings, Inventory Turns and Excess/Obsolete Inventory.• Team Development and Skills improvement of Purchasing, Planning and Materials Team related to IFS MRP System and solid Supply Chain Management Practices.• Change mindset of Procurement team from a “Place-and-Chase” to a Strategic Sourcing Group, transitioning from vendors to suppliers.
