Our mission is to bridge academia, industry and the clinic to enhance and accelerate drug discovery & development. I work with both industry and academic partners to apply industrial capabilities to cutting edge academic/clinical science. Partnered with industry in drug discovery/development, I target Lung and Ovarian Patient Dervied Xenograft (PDX) Models, working with industrial partners to delineate the clinical path of their therapies.

I collaborate with Study Directors in the set-up, technical execution, data collection, and reporting of studies according to GLP/ISO/FDA guidelines. I support efficacy/toxicology/pharmacology studies leading to product registration. I also maintain and monitor schedules of performance, flow of information, and repoprting of all studies.

I generated reports from protocols/procedures, specific accumulated study data, and other study related information for the Pharmacology, Ocular, and Efficacy Surgical Research Services departments. I also created and populated data tables for all reports and generated all required GLP and Non-GLP protocols.

Test toxicological effects of drugs on mice, rats, rabbits, canines, rumen and swine. This includes daily dosing and bleeding from all species listed. Many different methods of dosing and bleeding are used. I can perform Sub-cutaneous, Intramuscular, Intraperitoneal, Intravenous, Intraocular, Per Os, Vaginal, and Rectal dosing methods on all species listed.

I provided animal husbandry (feeding, cleaning, watering, observing, handling, and transporting of animals) to mice and rats. Level 1 and 2 technical work included: body weights, metabolic measurements, intraperitoneal/subcutaneous/oral gavage dosing, blood collection via retro orbital sinus, and major organ tissue harvest on mice and rats.
