Performed periodic on-site reviews with US 3PL partners to ensure operational best practices and KPI’s, as well as proper oversight of Variable labor expenses•Recommended productivity and operational process gains at CA site resulted in labor savings of $30k in just three months, as well as measurable improvements in shrink, and inventory accuracy•Developed and implemented forecast templates for each 3PL partner which was reviewed weekly with the senior management at the sites•Initiated detailed weekly forecast and capacity reviews with senior management at North America sites.•Provided 16 week and 9 month on hand volumes and pallet capacities visibility. • Improved site forecast accuracy of 45% to +/- 25% utilizing created projection tools, exceeding the goal of +/- 30% •Master Data Integration. Performed a deep detailed analysis of the master data in ERP (SAP) for all items located in the North America DC sites•Identified multiple data gaps, impacting building capacities, transportation costs, EDI 888 issues as well as labor handling costs•Review included over 12k items and led to labor savings in Asia due to process enhancements. Director Of Transportation NaSpin Master Sep 2019 - Dec 2020Toronto, Ontario, Ca•Tasked with a forensic review of transportation costs from fiscal year 2019. Analysis uncovered multiple invoice inaccuracies resulting in overpayments of hundreds of thousands of dollars.• Invoice issues included incorrect fuel surcharges, wrong freight classifications, unnecessary pallet reweighs, changes to original deliveries without approval. •Implemented changes in the 3rd party provider's accessorial tables dropping the number of charge accounts from 120 to 19.•Worked with a 3rd party transportation provider to drop contract rates on established lanes due to non-competitive rates in place. The cost changes from these 44 lanes reflected $630k in savings.•The issues uncovered due to the analysis led to a quarterly rebate from the provider. At the end of 2020, nearly $3MM in rebates and savings had been realized.•Organized and scheduled the movement of over 6000 pallets from 3PL partner in PA to 3PL site in CA. Using a combination of rail and OTR staggered deliveries providing a smooth receipt at destination•Project was delivered on time, with zero impact to the customer base, as well as delivering more than $150k in transportation savings.
