Thank you for taking the time to read this first of all & second in this section I decided to write a brief story about Dohjo Muay Thai & Fitness & myself. I am the owner of Dohjo Muay Thai & Fitness & I opened it on June 2nd, 2012. At this time we were just a part time school & as of May 1st, 2015 we have gone full time & have never looked back. Our vision is "Inspire Champions through Balance," & we strive to enlighten champions not only in the ring but also in life. We plan to do this through our adaptive curriculum & the sport of Muay Thai. Currently in competition I have over 40 competitive amateur bouts, 1 professional bout, I am a 3 time Canadian National Champion, IKF World Classic Champion, Four-man tournament 165 lbs K-1 Champion, WKF 165 lbs Champion & I have 12 years of experience in the sport of Muay Thai. I am also recognized as a Kru (teacher) of Muay Thai under IFMA guidelines and a certified Human Foundations Practitioner of Functional Patterns. I am still currently pursuing my passion as a Muay Thai fighter while balancing being a coach and entrepreneur.The school has been in business for 8 years which seems crazy to think of. I’ve been fortunate to have seen tremendous growth not only in members technique & physical health but also in the positive character of our members. I commonly am asked about the growth and success of the gym, but to me, success for me is my team succeeding. I’m happy I get to be a part of it.Have a GREAT day & thank you again for taking the time to read a brief history on our school and myself.
