Started as a seasonal hire in the Inside Lawn and Garden department and was promoted in less than a year to manage the Tools department based on illustrated urgency, work ethic, ability to learn the processes and ability to get the job done.Was moved back to Inside Lawn and Garden in March where the volume of work is one of the highest in the store. Volume is highest because all outdoor activity (Grilling, patio, lawn,,) is at the busiest during this time.Managed the new assembly process for the entire store. Most of this process is for the Inside Lawn and Garden area (Grills, Riders, Wheelbarrows,,). This process needed many improvements in order to support the needs of the customers. This was done based on my ability to collaborate with peers and the vendor to get to a level the would meet the customers’ high expectations

Directed a team that grew to over 200 IT professionals from BAs, QAs, Architects, and Developers to support customer-facing systems. The systems were mostly web-based applications as well as major API. The APIs were leveraged by larger customers.Migrated from waterfalls methods to over 75% agile methods.Responsible for the UPS Access Point Locker Program which fully deployed across the US in 2016.-Worked with sponsors to flush out goals of the project.-Identified all parties that need to be involved.-Ran regular meetings to manage the project as well as meetings to inform upper management.-Pulled together ad-hoc meetings to deal with challenging areas.Was responsible for the Follow My Delivery, which won the SuperNova Award in the Matrix Commerce category in Oct 2017.-Created and proposed an in-house solution instead of the current outsource plan.-Created and managed an agile plan to get this piloted and deployed.-Worked directly with developers, testers, architects as well as other participating departments to get this done.
