Currently 80% of the power plants in the country are using a technology initiated by ADES. Took the company public on NASDAQ in 2003 and grew it to a market cap above $500 million.

2014-15 Director for Highview Power, a London-based energy storage company developing grid-scale storage using compressed liquified air.

2005-2015 Founder and Director Clean Coal Solutions (CCS), a joint venture with Goldman Sachs and NexGen Resources. CCS provides pre-combustion coal-treatment technology for reducing emissions of NOx and mercury that is expected to be used on 10-15% of coal in the US in 2016-2021 generating cash flows in excess of $2 Billion.

2007-2011 Founder and Director of ADA Carbon Solutions (ACS) which supplies activated carbon (AC) to the coal industry for mercury control and for cleaning up drinking water. Secured $400 Million of financing from Private Equity to design and built the largest activated carbon (AC) production facility in the world. To provide feedstock for the AC plant, he opened the Five Forks Lignite Mine, only the third coal mine operating in Louisiana.

1985-1997 Founder and Executive Vice President ADA Technologies which conducted research and development for government agencies (EPA, DOE, DOD) and private organizations like the Electric Power Research Institute.
