About Mike Dussel

I grew up on a small, family farm in southwestern Michigan. I gained lots of natural resource experience (i.e. habitat management and forestry) growing up, and I solidified those skills while receiving a B.A. in Environmental Science from Albion College. During my time in the work force, I worked with DENSO, a Teir 1 automotive company, to create a plan to increase biodiversity at their North American corporate headquarters in Southfield, MI. I am currently working with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality where I am an Inspector in the Office of Environmental Compliance. My main inspection media are water, solid waste, and hazardous waste.
