The Big Day Off is a team effort between businesses and employees that raises money and awareness for those impacted by spinal injury.When businesses sign up, their staff can buy an entry in the draw to win a Big Day Off from their workplace. It’s a way for us all to support a great cause in a fun and unique way.It’s a concept that has been inspired by James McQuillan, who became a quadriplegic after an Aussie Rules Football injury in Albury. It’s hoped the Big Day Off will become a long lasting fundraising legacy for others impacted by spinal injury. Funds will also support spinal injury research and the quest for a cure.

The P & C of Albury West Public School endeavours to bring about a closer co-operation between the parents of the children attending the school, other citizens, the teachers at the school and the children themselves. The role of the P & C Association is to assist the school in the provision of a range of activities that our children can participate in within the school, and to assist the school in the acquisition of resources and facilities for our children to utilise on a day to day basis. To be able to provide these investments in our children's social and educational development, we rely heavily on a voluntary contribution scheme and fund raising.

Direct Freight Express has automatic parcel scanning and sorting machines installed in Sydney , Melbourne and Newcastle .Sydney has a capacity to process 9000 cartons per hour and Melbourne 7000.The business currently employes over 1000 staff , mainly drivers and has over 120 prime movers , 200 trailers 450 pick up and deliver trucks and 300 bulk trucks.
