Mike is an environmental land management and nature finance professional with over twenty years of experience developing, delivering and managing natural capital projects in the agricultural and environmental sector. He has worked nationally within the public, charitable and private sectors and with policy makers on a variety of projects from whole farm agri-environment schemes to creating some of the first habitat banks and nutrient mitigation schemes. Prior to setting up Albanwise Environment Ltd he was Managing Director of Norfolk Farming & Wildlife Advise Group and one of the early strategic advisers to the Wendling Beck Environment Project in Norfolk.Mike is particularly interested in the interplay of new environmental markets for carbon, biodiversity and nutrients and the role of nature positive strategies within large corporate business and how these will drive land use change over the coming decades. He has an honours degree in Environmental Sciences and was recently recognised as one of the Top 100 environmental professionals in the UK by the ENDS report.
