Assigned to the West Tellus 6th generation drill-ship where I joined in South Korea shipyard working on a daily basis as part of the commissioning team for the 4 x KBC, Heli-deck and Riser gantry crane along with various shipyard duties. I was involved with the load out of the rig as well as invitatory of the lifting accessories which would be used on location. Having gained experience in the start up and rig down on different locations I have also worked with various nationalities and have an excellent attitude to different cultures while gaining respect to achieve tasks safely. • Liaise and plan work scope in conjunction with Barge Master, client & 3rd party.• Liaise and plan with Storeman on/ offloading of supply vessels.• Stopping any job if it appears unsafe, if the job is not going according to plan or if there is a communication breakdown due to language barriers.• Ensure all Documentation is completed prior to each task, i.e. Risk Assessments, PTW, Lift Plans ,Working at Height, Manual Handling, Confined Space Entry.• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed for each task undertaken.• Ensure Lift Plans are completed with all involved before commencing any LiftingOperations.

• Liaise and plan work scope in conjunction with Deck Foreman & Section Leader.• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly crane checks, maintenance as per schedule.• Stopping any job if it appears unsafe, if the job is not going according to plan or if there is a communication breakdown due to language barriers.• Ensure lifting equipment used is checked before use and fit for purpose, and that currentColour code I.D. and SWL is clearly marked. • Mentor deck crew in the use of spoken English.• Ensure Lift Plans are completed with all involved before commencing any LiftingOperations.

Northsea.

Operation of 10t single part Whipline, 40t four part Main Block & 80t eight part Main Block, 80f & 120ft Lattice Boom Liehber Cranes.• Deck management, ensure good housekeeping is maintained.• Stopping any job if it appears unsafe or if the job is not going according to plan.• Ensure lifting equipment used is checked before use and fit for purpose, and that currentcolour code I.D. and SWL is clearly marked. • Carry out daily, weekly and monthly crane checks, maintenance as per schedule.• Mentor and train assistant crane operator for his next step up.• Ensure all lifting & rigging operations, supply boat and deck lifts are controlled and carriedout safely. Lift Plans, Risk Assessments and procedures are in place prior to lifts, complyingwith LOLER. Crane Operations are carried out within the Operational parameters.• Liaise and plan work scope in conjunction with Barge Master / Barge Engineer and other Supervisors.• Liaise with Store Man and Operators Materials Man for loading and back loading of equipment.• Carry out Fire Team Leader duties & responsibilities.• Act as HLO during Helicopter operations.• Ensure Lift Plans are completed with all involved before commencing any LiftingOperations.• Hold Tool Box Talks.• Mentor deck crew and ensure their training is fully compliant and ready for the next level.
