Overseeing the Worthing Youth Hub, a space for young people to seek career and well-being advice and guidance. A project ran in conjunction with the DWP and Adur and Worthing Council.

Planning and delivering bespoke further education programmes for NEET young people from all over Sussex. Duties include: - Planning and delivery of Premier League Works Initiative - Developing qualifications in areas such as employability, exercise studies, sport and coaching- Recruitment and continual brand development - Providing long term support for young people and continued help in areas such as substance misuse, school/college disengagement, unemployment, disability or special educational needs- Delivery of functional skills in numeracy and literacy up to level 2- Matrix accredited - Multi-organisational work with referring bodies all over Sussex - Development of bespoke school re-engagement programmes. Currently working on projects with 15 secondary schools, helping some of their most disengaged students to focus on their future

As a Wave Leader it was my responsibility to supervise all staff and young people on my allotted wave both in Brighton and on away residentials. Duties included:- Coordinating activities with external partners- Offering support and IAG to staff and young people- Ensuring all accommodation was allocated - Delivery of 'Consent' workshops to watch team on wave - Supporting the project manager in delivery of the programme - Oversee the wave as a whole in absence of senior management - Liaising with parents/guardians in case of emergency - Carrying out extractions of service users compromised safety of their peers- Devising working rotas for all staff to cover both day and night shifts- Supporting all groups during delivery of social action project- Sourcing resources and transport for groups during social action project- Taking on Team Leader role if required in absence of colleague - Running daily staff briefings and debriefing

Leading a group of 15 young people over a 4 week period during the NCS programme. NCS consists of 4 phases(2 residentials, planning for the futurea and social action). As a team leader it is my responsibility to motivate and encourage each young person through these phases. Duties included:- Asissting in delivery of away residential in Wales- Motivating young people to take part in all team building activities - Continual supervision when on activities or at accommodation- Leading discussions in workshops - Providing entertainment when needed- Supervising the accommodation after lights out- Leading group in planning and delivery of social action project - Liaising with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the wave

Planning, recruiting and delivering the Team Programme to groups of disadvantaged 'NEET' 16-25 year olds.This is multi-agency work, with referring companies and other organisations within the community.Duties included:- Developing and delivering workshops - Promoting and recruitment for Team programme- Delivering IAG to all service users - Coordinating work experience for all young people- Gained nomination from national awarding body for delivery of community project - Provide employability advice to all young people - Work with local referring agencies - Forging relationships with local organisations who could offer specialist support to the service users - Leading team of young people on week long residentials

Working with some of the most disengaged students in the school or learners who have difficulty accessing the curriculum. I was the humanities specific SEN worker, specialising in history and geography. I took an active role in the department and in the school life in general. Duties Included: - Working with students from year 7 to 11- Delivering 1:1 or small group lessons as required- Key working with certain students- Building positive relationships with the students and staff- Creating reports for humanities departments in preparation for parents evenings- Accompanying students on field trips- Working closely with students who have physical disabilities- Hoist trained- Exam invigilation- Reading and scribing in exams- Coaching the school cricket team- Logging interactions with students and parents on SIMS- Liaising with external organisations and working to strict rulings from governing bodies - Supervising the inclusion unit during lesson time and lunch periods - Supervising the students at lunchtime and end of day
