As an APM, I am part of the Program Management group and I provide ongoing support to project managers in their everyday tasks. As an active member of new product development teams the duties of the APM include: coordinating project activities, creating and maintaining project schedules, managing product Bills of Materials and issue tracking logs, conducting cost analyses to support necessary Program Management decisions, communicating with internal and external team members to get status updates on required project tasks, reviewing and providing comment on engineering specifications, as well as reviewing and coordinating the completion of marketing artwork. The APM is also expected to be able to conduct technical activities to support program management efforts including product testing and evaluations

As freelance sound editor, re-recording mixer, and sound designer I assist LedgerProductions with the post production workload. Projects that come in from independent filmmakers, students and musicians can see the benefits of a speedy online file transfer, an extensive sound library for adding effects, and the professional experience shared between Ledger and MikeEstlerSound.

Providing technical support to the engineers, NPD projects, other research and development related activities. Tasks required range from construction of prototypes to set up of product for review or display purposes, cataloging of equipment and product samples, and the test and measurement of acoustic and electrical A/V systems and components hardware and software.

Privileged with the opportunity to have an internship at TPMG in 2010, I was hired as a part-time assistant audio engineer in May of 2011. During my time working for owner/proprietor Richard Humphries, I had a great time editing sounds, dialogue and music for Discovery and History channel programming, as well as Military channel promos. In addition, I was able to run Foley sessions, record and edit effects that were incorporated into the TPMG sound library, and oversee occasional voice over sessions.
