Taking a break following the sale of the Stormfront Retail business to a private equity investor. Worked on a series of personal projects, including volunteering as a Special Constable Police Officer with Devon & Cornwall Constabulary and also further developing an Apple consumer end user support concept.

Responsible for all aspects of P&L business leadership, having founded a successful Apple retailing business, capitalising on the new Apple Premium Reseller Programme, an innovative new retail concept for the supply of Apple products to SMEs and the consumer market.Spearheaded a period of rapid business growth, from zero to entering the Sunday Times Fast Track two years running (2012 and 2013) as the 9th fastest-growing company in the UK.Built, managed and motivated a multi-functional team of up to 350+ employees, including recruitment of sales teams, retail / operational teams, warehouse / supply chain, and technical support resources. • Built the business into the largest UK Apple Premium Reseller & Apple Authorised Repairer• Simultaneously ran the business alongside Stormfront Technology Ltd, providing the repairs• Led acquisition & fit-out of a prestigious retail unit in the Drake Circus complex in Plymouth• Negotiated 9 months rent-free with the retail developer (P&O), fitting out the store in 3 mos• Launched the new retail concept, recognised as a success in speech by Steve Jobs• Opened a 2nd retail unit in Salisbury, negotiating a year rent-free with the building landlords• Secured £1m+ funding investment from a private investor, critical to expanding business• Recruited a leadership team for the business, incl. a Finance Director and a Sales Director• Opened a further 23 new retail stores, incl. sites in Canterbury, Inverness, Truro and Wales • Established a head office and warehouse in Exeter, incl. introducing centralised distribution• Set-up an Employee Benefits Scheme for the business, recognising the success of people
