• Mike Flibbert is a partner in Finnegan's chemical practice group, which he previously chaired. With more than twenty years of patent litigation experience, he serves as lead counsel in district court litigations, inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and Federal Circuit appeals. Mr. Flibbert represents clients in patent cases involving pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, agriculture, and materials science. He has particular experience representing pharmaceutical patent holders in litigations arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act.
