Maintenance Control Officer, providing organizational and direct support level maintenance to a PATRIOT Air Defense Artillery Battalion in support of 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command with world-wide contingency capabilities; responsible for overall management and supervision of six PATRIOT maintenance sections, one support company maintenance section, and one Terminal High Altitude (THAAD) battery; responsible for three Warrant Officers, 14 NCOs, and 62 Soldiers. Coordinates maintenance activities to ensureequipment is quickly returned form LED to the user; responsible for the maintenance/service schedules of over $1.5 billion in conventional, PATRIOT, and THAAD system equipment. Supervises and ensures the mission accomplishment and quality control of all work orders; provides advice to the Battalion Commander, Battalion Executive Officer, and Battery Commanders on every aspect of maintenanceoperations and serves as a liaison between the unit and civilian contractors.
