• I am responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security operations for the organization, to be able to mitigate/ prevent any internal or external risk factors. I worked with my director so we could implement current and accurate security policies, regulations, rules, and norms and make sure that the environment in their organization is safe for employers and visitors. Managed the security vendor that was on staff. Monitored all access control buildings and areas, using cameras, visiting management programs, security officers, and card access devices. Provide and teach quarterly trainings to staff such as, active shooter, suspicious encounters, fire drills, weather drills, intrusion drills, bomb threats, and suspicious packages. I also conducted and organized all event security included all protection for the CEO and any other VIP guests. I also managed and organized the security physical year budgets for Iowa and Nebraska. The five states that I was supervising was Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, with a total of 32 sites. Lastly, I conducted all Security, facilities, and safety audits for the organization, detailing in findings and what the recommendations for correction of the findings. I implemented security policies, procedures, and program for Iowa and Nebraska when I was hired, as there was none of the above in place. Updated and wrote new sop’s, sow’s, site specific action plans, and other procedures in Iowa and Nebraska. Currently travel five to seven thousand miles a month on average.As part of my facilities title I was overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology and so on. I supervise two facilities techs that work 80+ hours a week. Also, ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained. I also managed and organized the facilities physical year budgets for Iowa and Nebraska.
