As the Head of Technology, I am accountable for the ServiceDesk, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and the IT operation teams. I have 6 direct reports and oversee a wider team of 20. I am passionate about developing new talent and have launched the business first technology apprenticeship scheme. I sit on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at Ibstock PLC which has enabled me to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders from all areas of the business. Following promotion and restructuring of ABP, I oversaw the team IT services team. My role Included development and delivery of ICT / IT strategies for a large base of end users. Initiating a business transformation programme. Here, I introduced many service improvements, including revamp of ABP’s IT Service Desk. Here, I coached, mentored and managed Level 1 and 2 support analysts and graduate trainees.• Reviewing existing Helpdesk function and leading Service Desk development project• Ensured full delivery of effective IT governance, including leading delivery of IT policies and benchmarks• Established new ambitious incident Service Level Agreement targets and training staff to meet targets• Main point of contact following any major outages as link between IT and Board• Created and distributed new policy and procedure documentation across the business • Performing post-incident reviews and mitigating further risk to business through preventative measures• Led multiple projects using PRINCE2 methodologies with minimal disruption to everyday operations • Re-training teams to ensure they utilise full potential of ITIL methodologies to resolve incidents and issues• Collaborating with trusted network of vendors ensuring vendors deliver as per agreed terms

As Service Delivery Lead, I oversaw delivery of improvements to IT provision for end users at ABP.
