Managed heterogenous network composed of NetWare, Linux & Win2k servers, approximately 90 workstations in a manufacturing environment. Designed network infrastructure including building to building wireless using Cisco components. Managed multiple Unigraphics CAD/CAM workstations, assisted in implementing updates to distributed CAM delivery systems to CNC pods and general desktop support for both commercial and custom applications.

Giotronics was my former company. We managed client networks, did extensive design and implementation projects throughout the Western Massachusetts region, from wiring and infrastructure design to full turn-key network installations. Hardware and software sales and support with certifications from Novell, Dragon Naturally Speaking, WordPerfect, and others. Business closed in June 2001 due to health reasons.

Managed small computer maintenance shop for unit. Assisted Network Support Team in roll outs of new servers and network infrastructure. Managed and monitored network security via Sniffer products. Assisted in migration from Banyan Vines to MS Windows NT network. Managed LAN via HP OpenView.
