Oversee renovation operations over a three-state region. Responsible for directly hiring all local market leadership as well as input and approval of all market superintendents, assistants and administrative staff to meet operational and budget requirements. Conduct regular audits of properties to ensure adherence to company expectations for quality and costs. Recruit and onboard vendors both locally and nationwide. Provide training, counseling and goal setting to all team members and ensure all KPI goals are continually being exceeded. Work cross functionally with the occupied property teams to assist with issues beyond their level of expertise and ensure the satisfaction and comfort of our tenants. Review all scope estimates exceeding allowable variance to offer insight as to savings opportunities and/or reasons for underwriting misses. Lead projects to identify opportunities for operational efficiency gains and create new SOPs to achieve those gains.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Responsible for startup of new Zillow division for purchasing, renovating and selling homes in the D/FW market. The AG role managed all aspects of the estimations and renovations segment of the business. Hiring and training, developing standards and operational efficiencies. Ensuring accountability to aggressive KPI goals for the team. Providing input and support cross functionally to achieve overall success for the D/FW market.

Austin, Texas

General construction team management and training within assigned multibranch territory. Interview, hire and train branch level Construction Managers, Superintendents and Administrative Specialists. Involved in national vendor recruitment and job item national pricing. Responsible for meeting and exceeding aggressive KPI driven completion numbers in single family residential rehab industry over a four-state region as well as routinely assisting across other regions.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

General construction team management and training within local market. Interview, hire and train Superintendents, Estimators and Administrative Specialists. Responsible for meeting and exceeding company directives and KPI goals. Promoted to Regional CM when that team was first created.

Coordinate and facilitate all maintenance activity for portfolio of single family residential properties. Managed small renovation projects for individual property owners. Source vendors for all aspects of maintenance and renovations and manage daily dispatch as needed. Maintain data on work performed, warranties and approve vendor invoices for payment. Main point of contact for owners, residents and vendors for all maintenance and renovation needs.

Worked with property owners in need of construction / maintenance assistance in order to comply with city codes; placed those in need with various city and county programs to assist with needed work; coordinated large base of volunteers and donors as well as working with city department heads to complete as many projects as possible.

Residential and small commercial remodeling. Worked with several real estate agents and investors on single family flips as well as individual home remodels. Completed several small business remodel projects and one Church addition.
