This includes all power, cooling, and cabling needs as well.• Support and maintain a 3,000 square foot disaster recovery site mirroring all backup and Infrastructure systems.• Planned, managed, and provided oversight on updating the entire backbone hospital network infrastructure from an old Alcatel network to a Cisco Nexus (core and distribution), Cisco Catalyst (edge), and Cisco FEX(data center) Infrastructure including 68 IDF closets containing over 150 edge switches.• Planned, managed, and provided oversight to overhaul the entire wireless network for the hospital to a Cisco WLC and ISE configuration. This included programming and changing out over 400 AP’s.• Planned, managed, and provided oversight to migrate the hospital from an old Nortel PBX system to a Cisco Unified Communications system with Contact Center.• Migrated the hospital data center from an aging IBM VMWare farm, to a Cisco UCS system thus reducing the data center footprint by 6 cabinets and reducing the power and cooling expenditures.• Planned and executed a reorganization of the primary data center (including moving all cabinets) to improve cooling and power consumption. This was accomplished without any downtime to the system cabinets or systems.
