**** 2000 - Present Dextrous Robotics Laboratory (DRL)- Became first certified Unmanned Air System (UAS) pilot for JSC and I am evolving this new field at JSC.- Worked on a force sensing shoe for exercise analysis- Developed man-machine interfaces (hardware/software) and graphical/physics based computer simulations for the following robots:1. Robonaut (R1) - 52 DOF (Degree of Freedom) upper torso of humanoid robot2. Robonaut on Segway 2 wheeled balancing platform3. Spidernaut - 6 legged spider robot. Also developed the walking algorithm for this robot.4. Centaur - 4 wheeled mobility platform for Robonaut based off Segway drive system5. Chariot - 12 wheeled crab drive mobile platform capable of carrying 2000+ pounds6. SEV - Chariot with a 2 man crew habitat attached7. Centaur2 - second generation Centaur with 4 wheeled crab drive8. Robonaut2 (R2) - second generation Robonaut - Developed the tele-operation hardware/software interfaces to control all degrees of freedom of Robonaut 1 and 2 through virtual reality hardware. This includes stereoscopic vision, finger tracking, arm tracking and torso tracking. R2 is the first humanoid robot in space and also the first to be tele-operated. I am the lead tele-operator for R1 and R2.**** 1988 - 2000 Integrated Graphics, Operations, and Analysis Laboratory (IGOAL)- Co-developed the NASA Enigma and AGEA software which includes model building, computer animation, and key frame animation algorithms- Created over 50 computer animations which depicted shuttle missions, advanced concepts, and education outreach programs. These videos were viewed by Congress and on national TV.- Created simulations and participated in the accident analysis of both Shuttle tragedies- Managed the lab for 1 yearSee attached document for list of awards and selected publications
