Ag Loan Officer

Oversee daily operations of all branches (located in Atwood, Brewster, and Oberlin) and the Colby LPO. Report to Barney Horton CEO and Board of Directors. Additionally, oversee daily operations in Atwood as manager, our central bank, while continuing to provide lending services to great customers in Brewster and Colby locations (which includes many longtime Goodland customers).

Reponsible for commercial and agricultural loans. Structure financing that aligns to the needs and goals of my customers. Work closely with customers to help monitor their fiscal soundness and progress. Ulitimately, my job is to help my customers reach their financial goals.

Responsibilities include reviewing new loan requests and building relationships with existing bank customers.

In this role, I used instructional models to build comprehensive products. This work included contributing to the vision for instructional design/editorial adherence, ensuring coordination between instructional design, standards alignment, and content management system/tools, and coordinating with writers, instructional designers, media specialists, and visual designers. I also wrote instructional content including learning objectives, guides to instructors, activities, recommendations for computer-based interactivity, and recommendations for assessment. I reviewed content written by external sources for pedagogical effectiveness and content accuracy.

In this role, I was reponsible for overseeing the work of 13 staff in content, copyediting and production roles. I helped to implement processes for everything from tracking content development to managing payments for contractors. Because my home in San Antonio didn't sell, I was unable to relocate my family to the New York area. Subsequently, I moved back west in December, requesting a non-managerial position that would allow me to work from home and be with my family again.

Senior Program Manager I was the program manager for the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Interim Assessment (known as Stanford Learning First) and the Illinois state assessment. In this role, I was responsible for monitoring scope, schedule and budget. Custom Assessment Architect I developed assessment designs and program solutions for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and existing programs within Harcourt. In this role, I identified and articulated the goal of the given state assessment program, and created a psychometrically sound plan for creating content. I wrote the proposal text for over 30 projects that described content development and psychometric requirements. I was the lead writer for the 2006 FCAT Lessons Learned Reports. I proposed additional statistical analyses, reviewed and interpreted analysis results, and wrote introductory and interpretive technical text.

I was Director of Data and Technology at the Wyoming Department of Education where I was responsible for the oversight of several multi-million dollar programs and a staff of 16. Programs included the development of Wyoming’s online assessment report, data collection and reporting to meet state and federal legislative requirements, oversight of a technical group responsible for supporting all IT within the WDE, and a state-wide WAN system known as the Wyoming Equality Network (WEN). In collaboration with school district leaders, I created a plan to integrate district data storage systems that allowed for single data entry and reporting. This supported districts with their needs, and met state and federal reporting requirements. I championed a state legislative bill that was eventually passed into law and received state funding.
