In 2012, I conducted strategic planning sessions for the Carnegie Arts Center in Goodland, Kansas and wrote a customer service survey.Publishing - I was the Editorial Director at The Grow Network. I have written and reviewed math curriculum for grades 3 through 11. At Harcourt, I oversaw the development, production, printing, and distribution of the ISAT (Illinois’ state assessment).

In this role, I was responsible for monitoring scope, schedule and budget. Custom Assessment Architect I developed assessment designs and program solutions for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and existing programs within Harcourt. In this role, I identified and articulated the goal of the given state assessment program, and created a psychometrically sound plan for creating content. I wrote the proposal text for over 30 projects that described content development and psychometric requirements. I was the lead writer for the 2006 FCAT Lessons Learned Reports. I proposed additional statistical analyses, reviewed and interpreted analysis results, and wrote introductory and interpretive technical text. -
Director Of Data And TechnologyWyoming Doe Dec 1999 - Sep 2003I was Director of Data and Technology at the Wyoming Department of Education where I was responsible for the oversight of several multi-million dollar programs and a staff of 16. Programs included the development of Wyoming’s online assessment report, data collection and reporting to meet state and federal legislative requirements, oversight of a technical group responsible for supporting all IT within the WDE, and a state-wide WAN system known as the Wyoming Equality Network (WEN). In collaboration with school district leaders, I created a plan to integrate district data storage systems that allowed for single data entry and reporting. This supported districts with their needs, and met state and federal reporting requirements. I championed a state legislative bill that was eventually passed into law and received state funding.
