Started as a roughneck right out of High School, worked hard and moved to Derrickhand and achieved the position of Driller at the young age of 19 years old. Was in charge of a crew of 4 others. Responsibilities included rig safety, transportation of crew, Operating Service Rig including horizontal drilling, lots of snubbing jobs, tripping pipe, and many others. Worked in hazardous conditions including around H2S very frequently.
