Oversaw U.S. wholesale business and global sourcing operations, with total P&L responsibility. Led sourcing strategy to move away from trading agents and buy directly from source, resulting in 15% to 20% savings when sourcing direct. Stood up additional offices within mainland China as well as outside of China (Vietnam, India, and Indonesia) in order to execute upon strategy of eliminating agents as well as to reduce reliance upon China. Revamped Halloween end-to-end supply chain to ensure on-time delivery and eliminate expedited shipping. Created weekly reporting on approval status of new Halloween items to provide visibility to all as to where each new item was in the development process.• Minimized amount of Halloween product added late and purchased as “Outside the Buy”, which resulted in saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in expedited freight • Led acquisition and integration of Accurate Injection Molded plastic, which fit into the company’s strategy of self-manufacturing more products and pushing into “alternative markets.” • Transformed company’s selling efforts from selling products in a catalog to leveraging the company’s capabilities and to pursuing opportunities aggressively outside of the core party specialty channel and as part of this work stood up a telemarketing team to pursue smaller and geographically dispersed accounts. • Guided the integration of U.S. Balloon, which allowed the company to capture another layer of margin and leverage existing distribution center.

Served as lead team member of the acquisition of Christy’s Limited as well as the team lead on the product synergy efforts in order to execute upon investment thesis. The acquisition created a vertical platform in costumes, which generated additional gross margin for the Company. Christy’s gave company a beachhead in mainland China to begin to branch off of for sourcing of non-wearable products. Worked closely with supply chain team to ensure timely Halloween delivery. Achieved significant cost savings initiatives across holding company. Annual savings were created by identifying product re-engineering opportunities, SG&A opportunities, and procurement opportunities. Conducted due diligence, negotiation, and integration of the American Greetings Party Goods Business. Led the integration of the American Greetings business into Amscan as well as ensured the supply agreement was achieved. Sold and marketed FactSet’s portfolio software products to existing and new clients, and trained new clients and managed existing client relationships. Created and developed reports for portfolio managers and analysts to better understand risks they take in market and help them to understand performance of their portfolio’s in analytical manner. Created visual basic macros facilitating clients’ applications, creation of excel templates with FactSet codes providing for retrieval of large amounts of data in short period of time, and creation of various portfolio reports for clients such as attribution and contribution reports.
