I am a steadfast adventurer with a fascination in the relationship of ecology and anthropology, immersing myself in this experience on a weekly basis through a series of hikes I have been organizing since 1997. I have dedicated much of my life to an ideal, meshing social and physical connections with people and places. Every hike I organize is somehow connected to a previous one, and I engage participants to become a part of the experience. By physically connecting each place I have visited by foot, I gain a greater perspective and deeper understanding of it's relationship to me, to it's people and sub cultures, history, and ecology, and how it they fit into the world.I aim to promote the formalized and tangible connections such as trails and historic routes for the good of people, and for their own justification to exist, through www.metrotrails.orgBy the time I die, I see my life as a multidimensional work of art that is both abstract and free, yet arbitrarily regimented to reach my objectives.
