I worked in manufacturing industry, for over 20 years, at senior management level for nationally known companies such as Laura Ashley, Bairdwear and Christie Tyler. Throughout this period I became heavily involved with the Human Resources side of industry and developed a good practical understanding of employment law. In 2002 I became self employed, offering a consultancy service covering both manufacturing and H.R. Although production support still has a role in my business, the majority of my work centres around employment legislation and equality & diversity. I have gained considerable experience in employee relations and have handled many cases through the Employment Tribunals, for both Claimants and Respondents.
