Mike is a principal, tax, working in the Phoenix, Arizona, CAPTRUST office.Mike joined our team in 2020. He leads and oversees the day-to-day management of the tax practice for the CAPTRUST Phoenix office. His primary role is to deliver tax services to our individual clients and their businesses. He works with our clients on prioritizing their goals, addressing their complex tax issues and tax planning needs, and delivering timely tax returns.Mike’s responsibilities include the coordination and leadership of all daily operations, such as billing, staffing, recruiting, and process improvement. In addition, he corresponds with our clients’ investment advisors and outside counsel to be part of a cohesive engagement team.Before joining the firm, Mike was a managing partner at MRA Associates, where he served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Management Committee.Prior to joining MRA Associates in early 2017, Mike was a managing member at Jacobo, Licht, and Hirte PLLC, and then a managing member at Hirte Consulting Group, PLLC. In those roles, he provided tax planning and preparation services to a variety of clients.
