Oversees all business development efforts for BVTI's $40m VA portfolio. Responsible for identifying, tracking, and vetting potential business opportunities, and managing through capture, teaming, proposal, and handoff processes.

Supported operations as part a team of instructional design experts and data scientists providing independent training evaluation and quality assurance support for a million-learning-hour-per-year training portfolio at VA. Functioned as Deputy Program Manager, performing a combination of project management, quality assurance, and program evaluation duties, and serving as the lead for the team's data collection efforts. Provided corporate offices with reach-back proposal and HR support.From May to September 2016, supported a related task order providing stakeholder needs analysis for the rollout of several major enterprise-wide upgrades to VA's Training Management System (TMS). Performed a combination of project management and business analysis support. Supported stakeholder requirements gathering and monthly tracking and reporting on over 200 deliverables. Performed stakeholder interviews, document reviews, and independent research and analysis. Authored a collection of over a dozen white-papers analyzing the impacts of the migration on various stakeholder groups across VA. Served as informal course producer for several virtual instructor led training sessions on pilot programs for the new eIDP system.

Supporting the corporate operations of an award-winning Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), providing a combination of IT and professional services to Federal clients at VA, DHS, FAA, DoD and the IC. As BD Associate supported the VP of Business Development on a wide variety of proposal efforts. Support included requirements analysis, proposal management, technical solutioning, staffing plan development, writing/editing support, pricing and key recruitment and resume support. Supported dozens of Federal solicitations for a variety of different clients (DHS, VA, Intelligence Community), ranging from small task orders to major IDIQ's ($500M+). As HR Associate, reported directly to the VP of Human Resources. Support focused on developing and executing the company's corporate staffing and recruitment function, as well as providing leadership and support on a variety of HR program development, communications, and policy development initiatives. Served as project manager on several such initiatives, including the development of a proprietary corporate wellness program, leading the entire life cycle, from business case development through final implementation and hand off (18+ month process). Developed several corporate training and communications projects, and served as chairman of the HR corporate communications team. Played a key role in corporate staffing, supporting various functions from requirements analysis, staffing plan and requisition development, through posting, screening, interview, negotiations, selection and placement.

Founded and managed a marketing firm specializing in video production and related marketing services for local government and non-profit. Developed strategic business relationships and performed over 200 engagements nationwide. Managed all elements of business development, customer account management, subcontracts and delivery. Projects included multiple nationally distributed products, including two broadcast series for the National Head Start Association (NHSA), live satellite webcasts of US Thunderbirds and Navy Leapfrog demonstrations, key production and marketing roles for a half million dollar independent film distributed by Sony Pictures, and dozens of promotional videos for nationally-ranked non-profits, Arlington County, and members of US Congress. Oversaw all business operations and technical efforts, including project management, proposal development, contract and subcontracts negotiation and administration, procurement, quality assurance, and operations.

Supported the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management by managing day-to-day operations of the admissions office. Responsibilities included direct training and administrative oversight of a 5 FTE multi-disciplinary team; overseeing "matrixed" inputs and project support from faculty, administrators and college leadership, and managing teams of up to a dozen student workers. Oversaw functional operation of all elements of the admissions review cycle, and supported coordination of ongoing recruitment operations. Lead multiple process improvements, serving as the lead architect of a historic overhaul of college admissions process. Successfully championed proposed innovations to admissions team, stakeholders, and the college executive team and president. Changes resulted in dramatic improvements in external applicant experience, internal administrative efficiency, and application decision turnaround times. Along with other changes, these improvements contributed to successful recruitment of the largest incoming class in the history of the college to that time (an increase of over 40%, year-over-year). Drove development of multiple marketing and publication projects and communications campaigns spanning email, print, web, and social media. Developed oral presentations, giveaways, administrative communication plans, and a variety of educational resources to guide students and parents in their interaction with the college. Managed recruitment for West Coast and nationwide Distance Learning Territories. Executed successful "white glove" recruitment strategy to attract targeted students with exceptionally high academic scores and/or a national profile. Served as a student advocate and liaison with multiple offices and stakeholder groups across the organization.
