Day-to-day management of 9 indirect reports within the account team I am assigned to, this consist of four Business Analyst and five Quality Control resources providing oversight and guidance for both requirements and testing. Additionally, I have 5 direct reports from different accounts that I manage for HR and career growth purposes. I am responsible for mentoring them and ensuring they are on track with their career path. I’m also responsible for soliciting feedback from their day-to-day account managers so that I can provide their bi-annual performance reviews. In addition to management responsibilities I am also an active business analyst for my assigned client team building a marketing database and participating in all phases of SDLC. Daily interaction with development resources working through requirements and technical design. • Reverse engineer legacy scripts to provide both functional and technical requirements for the development team.• Serve as lead business analyst for sub projects within the overall project. For example lead 2 other business analyst to gather and provide the requirements for the extracts that were needed from the database for third party consumption.• Provide detailed query analysis and necessary changes for offshore junior developers in the form of requirements.• Participant in sprint planning and build planning as well as overall build process.

Analyst for new version of proprietary POS pawn software to be used in 800+ pawn shops. Participant in all phases of SDLC, both waterfall and agile as necessary. Act in the role of SME for the legacy system in order to help the business analyst team understand the detail requirements.Responsibilities:• Reverse engineer legacy application to provide both functional requirements for the business analyst and technical design for the development team.• SME for legacy system.• Provide analysis of 3rd party POS pawn software. Analysis all areas of the application in regards to compliance areas and business process.

Manage team responsible for web-based POS used in pawn shops for payday lending. Java based application deployed in a websphere environment. Day to day management of scope and releases to QA. Act as SME for legacy applications working with the business analyst team.Responsibilities:• Manage 5 member development team, including 1 FTE and 3 Contractors.• Work with business analyst to determine release scope and scheduling.• Work with QA to coordinate scheduling of deployments to multiple QA environments.

Responsible for release management including deployment process. Delivered several major enhancements, including prepaid card sales, and converting the system for use in Mexico. Worked closely with all stakeholders including operations, legal and compliance, support and training. Responsible for all aspects of SDLC during an 18 month period when there was not a business analyst for the team. Postscript development of laser pawn tickets.Responsibilities:• Wrote technical requirements for development based on the functional requirements received.• Wrote technical requirements for shop conversions when acquiring new stores.• Development of defect fixes and new enhancements as needed.

Developer working closely with dba and business analyst through all phases of SDLC. Worked to reverse engineer code that had been ported from mainframe to AIX servers to allow business analyst to document current processes. Worked on do not solicit processes. Also built a small access application to automate the manipulation of multiple spreadsheets into a single report. This process was for another epsilon client and was used to reduce several days of manual work per month.Responsibilities:• Development of new processes for marketing database.• Develop enhancements to existing processes for marketing database.• Work with Business Systems Analysts to develop specifications, create test cases, and perform the testing of new processes and enhancements to existing processes.

Level 2, Top level support for proprietary POS software used in 300+ pawn shops.Responsibilities: • In depth analysis of software and hardware related issues.• Worked closely with development team to identify potential software defects.• AIX system administration including: file system maintenance, adding users, creating and restoring system backups, hardware maintenance and trouble shooting of issues with printers, monitors, etc.• Worked with accounting to identify and correct variances caused by system defects.• Remedy development and administration with Oracle db.• ACCESS development to create report application connected to Oracle db.• AIX shell scripting for system administration and shop configuration changes.
