This involved direct customer contact, product file management and pricing policies in dealing with both the customers and the many suppliers required to service these accounts, using the bespoke computer system.I later became a member of the Branch Contracts Department, dealing mainly with stock profiling and product sourcing. I also was involved in the setting up of remote stock locations of various typesm resulting in regular site visits.On the request of the company management, I then became involved in the rationalization of the companies computerised product file, having gained an extensive knowledge of the wide range of products we distributed.
