As the General Manager and Head of CELA Compliance & Ethics Governance, Training, and Culture (GTC), I lead an innovative and internationally recognized program which advances trust in and at Microsoft, through six (6) enterprise-wide centers of excellence— • Anti-Corruption/Regulatory Compliance and Compliance Governance (responsible for assuring global compliance with Microsoft's anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies and responsible for compliance and ethics advice relating to mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and disclosures.)• Compliance & Ethics Learning (responsible for Microsoft’s required company-wide Trust Code (Standards of Business Conduct) training program)• OneCompliance (responsible for creating compliance standards, governance, and insight sharing for 100+ compliance teams (3,200 professionals) across MSFT, done in partnership with Audit Risk Compliance (ARC))• Trust Communications (responsible for the global Microsoft Runs on Trust initiative, annual company-wide speak-up campaigns, overall communications strategy, and external stakeholder engagement relating to our Microsoft Runs on Trust programming), • Global Readiness (responsible for partnering with Microsoft's engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure that products and content are world-ready and inclusive.) • Culture of Compliance (responsible for measuring and assessing Microsoft’s culture of compliance consistent with U.S. Department of Justice guidance.)I am a member of Brad Smith’s Corporate, External, Legal Affairs (CELA) Leadership Team.

From Aug. 2020 through Sept. 2022, I also served as global D&I lead/chair for Microsoft’s Corporate, External, Legal Affairs (CELA) department. In this role, I was responsible for developing CELA’s D&I strategy in conjunction with Microsoft's Office of the President (OOP). I also led CELA’s cross-functional D&I leadership team, which was responsible for implementing our D&I strategy and initiative globally. During my tenure, Microsoft was recognized as the National Employer of Choice by Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) and our initiative was profiled in Reuters. From Sept. 2022 to Sept. 2023, I served as the first Chair Emeritus of CELA's D&I council.

As a member of the Global WIT leadership team, I led a team of dynamic, empathetic, and highly-skilled compliance attorneys, who investigated & managed complex workplace issues (for the U.S. and Canada) in a manner that is consistent with Microsoft’s mission. I also created and led WIT’s data governance team, which is responsible for delivering trend and insight reporting to Microsoft's Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Office of the President and Vice Chairman (OOP) and other Microsoft senior executives. During this time, I served as a member of Microsoft Corporate Legal Affairs Extended Leadership Team (XLT).
