Inventor COP Angel, a smart control (patent granted) that maximises the efficiency of a heat pump

I work with a number of heat pump installation companies helping ensure they meet the standards of MCS as well getting involved in the more complicated installation types. I cover all matters revolving around the heat pump industry.

I have been in the renewable energy industry since 2010. Having been through the whole process of manufacture through to installation and handover of heat pumps, I recognise the importance of quality leads for a company in this sector. I look forward to working with you.

I designed and developed a new brand of heat pump in 2010 and managed to capture 10% of the UK’s domestic market share (RHI approved installations) in this industry, with a turnover of £2.5 million per yearSome of the key achievements from this role also include:►Developed processes and procedures to run businesses efficiently and devised strategies to ensure effective sales management►Undertook market research to identify trends and ensure cost reduction measures by sourcing manufacturers in China►Built key supplier and installer relations to empower an organic sales pathway►Promoted products and increased brand awareness by setting up a new marketing structure which was 30% more efficient than the nearest competitor, driving a significant increase in sales►Oversaw the design of a bespoke installation programme and software for surveying and quotations to ensure operational efficiency►Achieved national recognition (with the awarding of a H&V Award) within 5 years►Managed to become the first UK company to attain MCS accreditation using Chinese factories►Through a successful sales strategy, selected to become the sole supplier and installer for a green homes programme, negotiating a £3 million supply deal within 2 years

I developed a sporting goods business in recognition of an emerging market for shuttlecocks across the UK’s badminton leagues ►Recognised the potential of the market and travelled to China to analyse the manufacturing facilities before choosing a strategic partner for production ►Build on existing networks within the sport and marketed through direct sales and indirect media to new regions►Designed and acquired production partners for all physical branding aspects of the business►Developed long-term contracts for replacement shuttlecocks on a seasonal basis, enabling for economies of scale on the production front, leading to improved profitability►Sponsored 8 out of the UK’s top 10 professional players►Developed relationships across Europe, resulting in winning the bid as the official shuttlecock supplier to the European Championships in 2000►Developed a complementary range of clothing and footwear ►Exited the business following a successful sale to a leading competitor in 2002
