Mike Kerry - Specialist, Performing Arts & Theatrical ToursBiographyMichael Kujawa (p/k/a Mike Kerry), after serving seven years in the United States Air Force and being honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1984, then spent two years working as a civil engineer. However, performing as a musician himself for many years as a guitarist, Mike was continually involved in the world of entertainment and working with performing artists. Due to this passion, Mike then spent the next 18 years working professionally as an entertainment booking agent. Mike's first position as an agent was for America's Music Agency and he represented such artists as Sarah Vaughan, Dizzy Gillespie, Woody Herman Orchestra, Artie Shaw Orchestra, Lionel Hampton, Rosemary Clooney, etc.Mike then moved on and spent time as an agent for Gurtman & Murtha, Producers Inc., as well as That's Entertainment International. During this period, Mike represented such artists as Victor Borge, Robert Merrill, Judy Collins, Gordon Lightfoot, Don McLain, etc.In 2002, Mike Kerry was courted and hired by the prestigious International Creative Management (ICM) agency to head and run their Mid-West office in Illinois. During his tenure at ICM Mike had the privilege of representing and working with such artists as Jay Leno, Howie Mandel, The Beach Boys, Lover Boy, Ann Murray, David Sanborn, Eddie Money, Manhatten Transfer, etc.By 2004, Mike professionally retired from the business to take time off to pursue personal interests and enjoy time with his family. Although retired, Mike always kept a pulse on the business of entertainment that he enjoyed so much.
