100 MWManagement of all operations and maintenance of 61 1.65 MW turbines and 10 Staff.While at Elkhorn my responsibilities included: Supervising the base crane operations, punch list completion and service hand over walk down inspections, as well as the last few months of operations the task of site management of the projects installation crews and service crews for and on time completion.Through volunteering and seeking opportunities in Vestas this has enabled the accelerated completion of all Vestas training available to me, building the ever expanding knowledge of turbines as well as leadership, safety and computer software. Within less than a year of employment I was promoted to Lead Technician/OJT Site Managers training Position at Elkhorn Valley. Responsibilities included managing site staff, ten Service Technicians, Maintenance, repairs and managing all CIM work while integrating sub contractors on the turbines. I jointly attend, and at times lead safety meetings, with an emphasis on getting the safety concerns and need's for our site completed.Key Accomplishments:• Co managing a successful Safety Culture at site that puts ‘people before megawatts’.• Developing a sense of pride and ownership in our Service Technicians.• Co-developing an operating a lean yet functional budget that allows us to do more with less.• 4 years to date of holding a Contractual Availability production bonus with on time service contract• Co-managed two sites with operation troubles back to productive sites through training • Helped with the training of four successful site managers from the VBA leadership program.• Managing and scheduling several main component changes during service cycle. • SAP operations training of many Vestas employees in SAP operations, including 8 from Europe.• Service and repair of several Turbine platforms including: NM48, NM52, NM54, NM72, NM82, V44, V47’s, V80’s and V82’s
