At the present moment I am working for UK Hydrographics, I am currently working in 2nd Line Support, but I was in the Service Desk 1st Line Support taking support calls from users, and logging problems on the system Incident Coordinator software and fixing issues where appropriate, and using Altiris and Microsoft SCCM to deploy software. To try and aid in recovery and to resolve an issue using Altiris for XP, W7 desktops to gain a better understanding of the problem, RDP on XP or on Windows 7 Remote Assist to get a better understanding for the customer, to ascertain or aid in a faster resolve time in recovering the problem or incident. Within my current role, I have to user software to check on backups, and the software that I use is NetVault and Veeam backup software (Virtual Server Backup Software), I have in other companies also used Backup Exec 2012 to perform this daily task.Over the years working within Somerset College, NHS Trust IT department, Debenhams and United Kingdom Hydrographics Office. I have met many challenges in new technologies which I have managed to gain experience and strong skills in many fields. I have studied hard and made it my best interest to stay up to date with any latest product and learned to a high level and I am always happy to pass this knowledge on to others. I have been fortunate enough over the years to have been on some very interesting courses, with this extra development I have been able to turn this into practical experience and I have been able to enjoy my achievements and rewards. I perform to a high level of customer service and have very strong communication skills using documentations and with a positive attitude to not confuse the problem, and with an aptitude for strategic thought and planning and the ability to adapt quickly to new ideas and situations and work as a team with my co-workers. I believe my career to date has proven that I am more than capable of taking on new challenges and succeeding in them.
