A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.I have picked up a variety of skills over the years. While I would not necessarily consider myself a master in any one area, I would argue that mastery is not always essential. Broad familiarity has positioned me as a problem solver and go-to guy when my teammates encounter roadblocks they can't get around on their own.Areas that I have at least a basic familiarity include:Excel VBA - Macro Building - API InteractionsSQL - Custom Reporting, Imports and UpdatesPython - Application Building with tkinter GUISharePoint - Site Building and ManagementPower Automate - Support Request ManagementPower Apps - SharePoint List User InterfaceHTML/CSS - SharePoint CustomizationsProbably more areas I'm forgetting at the moment. What am I looking for in a company?1.) A company where HR fights for what's right, regardless of whether what's right favors the employee or the company.2.) A company where executive bonuses are sacrificed before the average worker's paycheck. Events like furloughs and layoffs should be avoided whenever possible.3.) A company that is honest with its employees and does not try to deceive them into participating in "Voluntary" programs.4.) A company where employees are not only paid a living wage, but a thriving wage. That is to say, a wage that allows the employee to not only survive, but to prosper.5.) A company that understands that employees work to live, not live to work, and that employees should have, at minimum, three weeks of vacation time each year. Time off is not only nice, but also essential for an individual's mental and physical health and wellbeing.6.) A company that understands that when annual merit increases do not keep up with inflation, the employees are being allowed to fall behind. Anyone who shows up to work and does exactly as they are expected to do should have a wage that keeps up with inflation, at the very least. Anyone regularly going above and beyond expectations should be rewarded beyond just keeping up with inflation. In short, I see myself as an ethical, honest individual, and I am looking for a company that embodies those same traits. I am looking for a company that truly cares about and values their employees' mental, physical and financial health and wellbeing. A healthy employee is a happy and productive employee.Recruiters: I'm looking for Full-Time, Direct-Hire Positions only. I'm not interested in Contract Positions. My bills don't have an expiration date, my job shouldn't either.
