As one aspect of its mission, the QA/Testing group will provide test leads to other teams and projects within IT Services, to improve testing performance, organization and accountability within projects. The Test Lead will contribute to the successful implementation and support of application systems and infrastructure of UW Medicine. The Test Lead will coach and provide consultation to project teams in testing tools, strategies, methodologies, and processes. In the event that the Test Lead is assigned to lead a project through the testing life cycle, he/she will work closely with users, stakeholders, and project teams to analyze business processes and data, develop user requirements and functional specifications, plan and lead all phases of testing, and assist business stakeholders and project teams to deliver on time and high-quality applications and systems. Testing functions will be performed in collaboration with the vendors, medical center business partners, end-users, applications and operations support staff as leader of a cross functional test team for the project assigned.
