The Program Delivery Manager is responsible for the overall management and leadership of multiple alliances from a delivery aspect for MTM in supporting Victoria’s ‘Big Build’ Infrastructure Program. Reporting to the Project Director MLXRT, this role is responsible for facilitating activities which ensure the successful, safe and profitable delivery of concurrent projects across the MTM Level Crossings Removal Program (LXRP). Responsibilities include ensuring that there is suitable resourcing, organisational support and commercial viability for Metro to deliver on these project and setting objectives within the portfolio in line with MTM strategies, shaping the culture through demonstrating Metro’s values and holding other’s to account on living these values.This position has responsibility for working with relevant stakeholders across multiple Alliances to identify process and operational issues. Key aspects of this role is to bring a continuous improvement focus to project-management and support services by clearing bottlenecks and problem solving; as well as developing, supporting and coaching the leadership delivery team so that they can lead their teams to achieve the goals within the safety, time, cost and quality parameters determined for the Projects.This role represents Metro's interest for the State including ALT responsibilities and is expected to support the Project Director MLXRT in the strategic support of Tier 1 Contractors and Consultancy partners across the industry as well as key Government Agencies.
