Primarily responsible for the software engineering and implementation of the second generation of Crown’s customer facing Fleet Management Software, InfoLink (and ancillary products).InfoLink services Crown’s customer base which currently manages the daily operations of 100,000+ vehicles (i.e., forklifts) worldwide. InfoLink features include access control, event management, utilization and productivity reporting. New services include proactive health monitoring, instant mobile alerts, and automatic OTA software updates which generate secondary revenue streams by leveraging existing data and communications. ISO 27001 certified and Privacy compliant.Starting green field, built a disciplined Software Product Development Process —merging project management and SDLC which established controls and collaboration across developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders. Created ecosystem Operational Blueprint which still serves as a product northern star. Ensured design allowance for future ecosystem functionality such as collision avoidance and autonomy. Collaborated with executive management to allow our product to be the first to run outside the company’s traditional data centers and operate in the cloud.Stood up global development teams to develop 100% of software in house. Team composition includes solution architects, product specialists, industrial designers, full stack java web developers, quality analyst, data engineers, DevOps engineers, ISO and Privacy administrators. Integrating Design Thinking, Agile Development Methodologies (blended with Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe), Continuous Improvement / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and a DevOps culture.
