I began my college career by studying art and graphic design at Montgomery County Community College. When I transferred to Temple University I took a handful of business classes at the Fox School of Business before finally deciding on Community Development. I transferred to the School of Environmental design soon after and finished my degree. While in college I worked at a comic book store as the Games Manager. I organized and ran tournaments for the gaming community. I also acted as a go between for management and the gamers, working to solve any disagreements that arose. Towards the end of my college career I got an internship with the Center for Sustainable Communities on the Temple Ambler campus. Here I maintained a website which has information regarding green stormwater infrastructure projects in and around PA.After college I decided to spend time traveling. I was hired by the AEON corporation to teach English in Japan. This was a great opportunity to live interdependently, experience another culture, and fulfill a dream I've had since childhood. It was a demanding, but satisfying, year. I worked hard and had a great relationship with my students.My experience is varied. I enjoy learning new things and that is reflected in my history. Whether it is learning the rules to a game so I can solve disputes, or teaching English to Japanese business men I always work hard to exceed expectations.
