Heading up and developing after sales business.

My role is to run Aldridge Service Centre as a commercial vehicle repair centre for Dennis Eagle, based in the West Midlands. Dominantly the type of work under taken is servicing and repair of our own Dennis Eagle manufactured product. The centre has a given operational area for which we are responsible. Work is conducted in the main at our customer sites, warranty quick fix type of work which is carried out via our team of six field service engineers (home based man in a van). Larger more involved work is normally carried out at our Aldridge Service Centre which houses a 20 bay workshop, two overhead crane units one 25 ton and one 15 ton. Stores and administration offices, the Centre is operated by a team of 8 workshop engineers, 1 x store man a team of 3 x administration staff.

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufactured product warranty with a team of three through to recover and all financial control.

Responsible for setting up UK operation, developing product through to launch and subsequent business development of sales and service. This lead to being Sales Manager, Responsible for nation-wide sales of £3M pa with 4 staff and 2 agents covering 485 customers.

Provide technical support to internal and external companies, via telephone advise through to running training course home and abroad. Responsible for assisting product development and technical author of product manuals
